Saturday Trip to Rockbridge

We took a trip to Rockbridge with our friends to celebrate Sara's birthday. What a beautiful day to be out for a drive in the Ozarks.

Getting older

 I have reached this stage of my life.   I think I have done pretty good.   I am almost 63 and have never had to take any sort of medicine on a regular basis.  But the cholesterol and triglyceride numbers came in to high so it is time for a better diet, more exercise and a daily dose of these.

Got a camper - 1st Trip Out - Break in - Branson Missouri

 So we bought this used camper with our kids.  Nothing fancy but a nice trailer.   We took it to the KOA in Branson last weekend for a two night break in trip.  Our friends the Pattersons tagged along with us.

We spent the day Saturday going to Dogwood Canyon and Top of the Rock.  It was a hot, but Great, day.

Excursions around Izard County - A hot August weekend at Calico Rock

Within a couple of weeks dad will be moving to Tulsa to live with Brenda & Jack in their new house. I spent last weekend at the NAIN cabin with dad. We had good conversation and went on a couple of excursions around Izard county that included a trip to Trimble Campground and Baron Fork. We also took at trip down the Boswell road to Mt Olive. It was a great weekend.
