I am a firm believer that federal tax reform is way over due. The current Internal Revenue Tax code is the accumulation of tax legislation from the last 70+ years.
However, it is crazy to believe that either political party (republicans in this case) can pass one law that would "fix" the unfairness and inequities of the code. Not in the current political environment that exist today and not before there is campaign finance reform.
I am certain that hard working tax payers and small business owners will not be the winners in whatever is finally passed.
