Funny math

You know math is so funny and can be very misleading.
For example, lets say the government cuts my taxes by 5% but other cost, like health care, goes up more than 5%, I am cash flow wise worse off. Easy math, right?
It's this kind of math that should make us curious when a politician tells us that they are going to give us something today. Curiosity should make you ask, "but what are you going to take from me tomorrow?"
All politicians are the same. There is no difference in the GOP or the DEMs. It's called "chicken in every pot" politics.
And this type of math almost always works on those that want to believe what they are told. It is very easy to believe that less taxes is a good thing even it is not and it is very easy to believe that more taxes is a bad thing even if the realty is that it is not. Only a true understanding of economics and a crystal ball knows for certain.
